Emerald Coast Chapter Charter
- To foster close cooperation between industry and the military/government in research and development, acquisition, operation, and support of C3I and related systems
- To promote and maintain high professional and ethical standards in all AFCEA activities
- To sustain a robust C3I professional corps
- To promote C3I interoperability
- To promote lawful exchange of technical information among free world nations where AFCEA operates
- To encourage research and development in C3I and related systems
- To familiarize the public with national security requirements and the latest technology developed to satisfy those requirements
- To promote and sponsor appropriate patriotic and educational causes, and foster national education and training in the fields of science and engineering
New Chapter Bylaws
- The draft bylaws proposed for member approval
- The existing charter from 1991
- The current AFCEA International bylaws
This amendment updates the Emerald Coast Chapter Bylaws approved in 1991. Several revisions have been incorporated including following the format of the Bylaws for AFCEA International, replacing "Directors" with "Vice Presidents" for certain officer positions, adding the Web Master position, and including Internet technologies like e-mail and WWW.
